The Simple Rules
We all love rules! Right? Right?
Well here’s one “unofficial” rule: be real, be inventive, be someone your friends and family want to vote for!
Now, read the actual contesty-type rules below to make sure your video qualifies to compete, but also check out our tip pages, watch our how-to video for fun ideas, and even check out our free props you can download and use in your own video!
- Shout It Out! Every video must use a speech bubble, either ours available on the props page, or one you make yourself. Write or draw a word or image that symbolizes you, your money mistake or what you learned. Other props can be used, but are not required.
- Your video should be no longer than 60 seconds maximum. Any longer and people will have to get up to get a snack. Oh, and your video will be disqualified. Eek!
- Video formats accepted are .AVI, .MOV, .WMV, and .MPG. If you don’t know what those are, ask that nerdy neighbor kid who never leaves the house. Videos submitted in any other format will not be accepted and disqualified. Double eek!
- Videos must be submitted by 11:59 CT on Thursday, March 25, 2010.
- All videos will be viewed by TFCU (that’s Tinker Federal Credit Union), prior to posting on website for voting.
- Any inappropriate language or behavior will not be tolerated, and will be disqualified, gosh darn it!
- Once the qualified videos are cleared to be viewed, all videos will compete against each other for votes. Get your gloves on!
- Voting takes place for two weeks (April 1st – April 15th)
- Videos with most votes at the end of voting period will be the grand prize, 2nd place and 3rd place winners. Yippee!
- Bucky’s Choice (that’s that wacky thumb guy who says “buck it!” all the time), will be determined by TFCU.
- Only one vote per day, per email address will be allowed for the length of the voting period. So no making your little brother sit at the computer for 8 hours voting all day with no bathroom breaks.
