Paint Your Perfect Picture

If there’s one thing I’ve realized, it’s that I have no right to complain about my life because it is what I make it. Yes, outside circumstances come and go, things change but it’s my reaction to them that really determines the outcome.
As we start a new year, my challenge to you is to paint your perfect picture. What do you want your life to look like? Do you want more secure finances? How about a better paying job or saving more money? Whatever it is, now is the time to paint that picture. Write it down, keep it clear, and inspire yourself with where you want to go.
Leadership coach, Zig Ziglar, said, “If you want to reach a goal, you must ‘see the reaching’ in your own mind before you actually arrive at your goal.” In other words, setting a goal is the first step and then actually picturing yourself achieving it is the next. Before you know it, you’ll be on your way to achieving all the goals you have set for yourself.
