Party Super Cheap for the Super Bowl

It’s here. Ya know, that game that comes around once a year…the Super Bowl! And all though I don’t keep up throughout the season, you bet your bottom dollar I won’t be missing out on this final game! But speaking of bottom dollar, throwing a party for this big event could get pricey. So I have collected some ideas from notmadeofmoney.com on how to throw a super cheap party for the Super Bowl.

Deciding on the Grub

Don’t get too carried away. A four course meal isn’t expected from the host by any means. Finger foods always do the trick! Chips and queso, trail mix, potato chips, and popcorn usually satisfy the hungry fans. Or you could always go the healthy route and supply veggie trays and dip. However, if you are looking to provide a little extra grub, sandwiches or lil’ smokies are more than enough!

Quench your Thirst

Supply a few two liters; it is much cheaper than buying cans. One diet soda, regular soda, and another alternative will bring enough variety.

No Need for Decorations

Trust me, no one will notice if the decorations aren’t up. It will save you time, money, and the hassle of cleaning them up afterwards.

The cheapest alternative? Share the love. Ask your guests to bring one of their favorite foods/beverage to share with the group! It makes it easy on you and also adds variety to the party. Do you have any cheap ways to throw a great party? Please share with us!
