Another subtle but great line in The Hangover from Phil to Alan as Alan wanders through the suite in his underpants. That’s a pretty reasonable request to ask of your boy. How good are you at dealing with people and negotiations?
Let’s say you’ve found the house that fits you. What are the sellers asking for the house? More than likely there’s room for negotiation. A lot can factor in making an offer and there is plenty of really good of information here.
Once I knew I had found the house I wanted it was time to make an offer. I was fortunate enough to have some information that gave me an advantage in the negotiation process. We made an offer based off that information and the seller counter-offered. I ended up countering their counter and they agreed. We had ourselves a deal. Next up: home inspection.
